This package consists of one induction day and three twilight online courses.
Your induction day will provide you with the opportunity to be inducted as new Heads of RE regarding the national and Diocsean expectations for RE and the RE curriculum.
The day will also consist of the following:
- Engaging explanation of the importance of RE and leading RE in a Catholic school.
- Shared expertise from an established and outstanding Head of RE.
- Explanation of Curricululm expectations at KS3, KS4 and KS5 and how to use and understand the Religous Education Directory.
- Opportunities to share good practice and network with other new Heads of RE.
Along with your induction day you will also have access to three online twilight sessions. The aim of these sessions is to induct new Heads of RE regarding monitoring and ealuating Religious Education.
The sessions will include the following:
- Exploration of the importance of monitoring and evaluating RE.
- Engaging explanation about how to effectively monitor and evaluate RE.
- Practical examples of how to effectively monitor and evaluate RE.
- Opportunity to ask questions and address concerns about monitoring and evaluating RE.
