Network meeting focused on the importance of literacy in Maths and how we can support the longer worded questions

About this event

We are delighted to announce the first Secondary Network Meeting of the New Year will take place on Monday 24 January 2022 at 4pm, with a focus on the importance of literacy in Maths and how we can support the longer worded questions.

The session will include opportunities to collaborate on this in breakout rooms. We look forward to seeing you then.

Once registered, Zoom link will be sent on the Friday prior and at 2pm on the day of the meeting. The meeting starts at 4.00pm and we anticipate it will last up to an hour.

Organiser of Secondary Online Network Meeting

North-East Hants and Surrey (NEHS) Maths Hub is led by St John the Baptist School, Woking and runs a large programme of  Work Groups and events throughout the year with the aim of improving Maths teaching, leadership and professional learning practice to transform Maths education.

The Maths Hubs Network is the collaborative partnership of the 40 Maths Hubs across England, supported and facilitated by the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM). It is part of the wider development of school-led, system leadership of education in England.
