Secret Dishes From Around the World 3 is Bounceback Food's third fundraising cookbook! It features 40 exciting recipes from 20 countries, beautiful food photography and original designs by artists supported by 20 arts charities and social enterprises across the UK. In Sunderland, Family Arts Network commissioned illustration artist Hannah Rich to work with families supported by the network to create artwork to represent Malaysia.

The Bounceback Food team are touring the UK to celebrate the publication of the third book in the Secret Dishes From Around the World series! In Sunderland, we'll be celebrating with the artists involved, the authors of the book and the team at Family Arts Network who collaborated over the last year on this nationwide arts project. COVID-19 guidelines permitting, we hope to be able to bring everyone together to celebrate the launch of the book and provide you with exclusive signed first-edition copies of Secret Dishes From Around the World 3!

At the launch, Hannah and the Bounceback Food team will be signing first-edition copies of Secret Dishes From Around the World 3 for the discounted price of £20 (RRP £25) - pre-order your copy which you will be able to collect from the venue on the day of the event with your free ticket order.

Bounceback Food CIC is a community cookery school that, pre COVID-19, predominantly supported people living in food poverty in Greater Manchester, Cheshire & North Wales. Since the pandemic hit, we have been busy mobilising delivery teams in the UK’s largest 20 towns and cities in order to teach people how to cook, donate food to foodbanks and provide catering services in disadvantaged communities nationwide.

Since 2014 we have taught more than 2,500 people how to cook including stroke survivors, young carers, foodbank beneficiaries and elderly people living in sheltered accommodation. We have also donated over 10,000 items of food to foodbanks as part of our foodbank drive and generated almost 100,000 meals for people in need via our catering provision, community meal drives and workshops.
