Sector Spotlight -Education and Training

As a means of bringing together professionals in the Education & Training sector, and to provide an opportunity for those who would like to make connections with the sector, this event is designed to increase connection opportunities, discuss issues the sector is facing, share business intelligence, etc. as a means of support, and explore potential collaboration.

Many educational providers look for members of the business community to mentor young people.

Mentoring and Coaching are separate skills, and we expect our external partners to be able to do it with little support or direction. Is this right? At the meeting we will be discussing this and other topical subjects around skills and education.

The event will be chaired by Bev Crighton, Education Lead - Derby County Community Trust

Please arrive online 10 minutes before the event begins this will give you time to load the Zoom app and to ensure you will have a device with a microphone and webcam, before being welcomed by our technical host.
