Description

The SECURE (Statistics of Environmental Change, Resources and Ecosystems), funded by EPSRC will hold its third and final annual conference on Tuesday, the 19th September, 2017 at the TEACHER Building. This will be a one day conference open to all, and of special interest to statisticians, modelers and environmental scientists. The conference will comprise of talks from Professor Richard Smith from the University of North Carolina, Mr Terry A'Hearn, CEO of SEPA, and Professor Gabriele Hegerl from the University of Edinburgh. There will also be short presentations on the Feasibility Projects SECURE funded on its second project call. A full programme will be available on the SECURE website in due course.

Timings: Coffee and Registration will be from 9.30am in the Laphroaig Lounge on the first floor. The day will finish at 4.45pm

General: The event is free and lunch will be provided; please note no tickets are required.

Location/Transport: Glasgow’s St Enoch Station on the city’s subway network is approximately 20 yards from the entrance to IET Glasgow Teacher Building and can be seen upon exit from the station (come out and turn right into St Enoch Place). If traveling by taxi ask for St Enoch Place/St Enoch Square. Post code: G1 4DB.
