Security Cafe 2018
Date and time
Description
Please see a video overview here.
The Security Café is an event targeted at all information security professionals in the North East region. The Security Café uses the world café conversational process format, which encourages networking and sharing of knowledge and ideas across a selection of cyber topics. It is an informal, hands on event providing an opportunity to engage with all attendees during the evening.
This year we will run the (ISC)2 North East England chapter Annual General Meeting (AGM) for approximately 20 minutes before starting the Security Café. During the AGM we will review the previous year, describe plans for the coming year, and announce the election results for the chapter president in light of Ken Walls stepping down from the role.
Our proposed table discussion themes are as follows. However, we are happy to consider any topics that you may wish to propose:
-
GDPR
-
Brexit
-
Top threats for 2018
-
Cyber and AI
-
Secure software development
