The ISC2 Thames Valley Chapter welcomes all members and non-members to attend its next event on Thursday, July 31st 2025 starting at 7:00pm BST and finishing at 9:00pm BST. The site is the Pub & Pizza Restaurant Thirsty Bear in Reading (110 Kings Rd, Reading RG1 3BY). We will start serving food and drinks at 7pm whereas the guest speakers will start their presentations at 7:30pm (Ken Munro time slot: 7:30-8:10pm / Ayokunmi Ogundapo time slot 8:20-9pm)
IMPORTANT: the ISC2 Thames Valley chapter will cover the expenses of almost 2 slices of 20 inches pizza + 1 drink only for the first 30 members that are also active, i.e. they paid their annual fee. The pub has a capacity up to 45 sitting people, so it means that the remaining 15 people will pay their own orders. The e-tickets will be sold with the First In First Served strategy. If you want to eat and drink extra then you will cover your own expenses.

Our first guest speaker Ken Munro, will present on the topic of “Pwn my Ride: security issues with connected cars." We’ll look at security problems associated with vehicle telematics, issues directly on the CAN, together with EV security challenges too. It will include the results of a two month exercise against a Tesla Model S, aka bash on wheels!”
Instead, our second guest speaker Ayokunmi Ogundapo, will present on the topic of "Rethinking Privileged Access Strategy in the Era of Cloud-Defined Perimeters."
Ken Munro - Speaker Bio:
Ken Munro is Partner and Founder of Pen Test Partners, a firm of ethical hackers. He regularly blogs on everything from ICS issues in maritime security to hacking cars and the Internet of Things. This has led to regular appearances on TV and BBC News online as well as the broadsheet press.
Ken has become a voice for reform and legislative change, briefing UK and US government departments as well as being involved with various EU consumer councils. He has also spoken about ICS and IIoT security issues at various events including the Maritime Cyber Security Summit, and CMA Shipping. He’s also not averse to getting deeply techie, regularly participating in hacking challenges and demos at RSA, Black Hat, 44CON, DEF CON and BSides amongst others. Ken is also a member of the CVE Board.

Ayokunmi Ogundapo - Speaker Bio:
Ayokunmi is a cybersecurity professional with a passion for identity and access management (IAM) consulting. Currently, he leads the Microsoft practice at IAM Experts Limited, a leading pure player in IAM consulting with a global presence. Ayokunmi leverages his expertise to help organizations across Europe assess their IAM maturity, define their target operating model, and develop a strategic roadmap for maturing their IAM processes. He joined IAM Experts when he moved to the UK for his Master's degree in Cybersecurity and Human Factors at Bournemouth University, where he graduated with distinction.
Prior to his consulting career, Ayokunmi served as Head of Digital Workplace at Interswitch Limited, a prominent digital payments and e-commerce company. In this role, he oversaw IT governance and risk management functions, providing support for information management systems and assessing the sufficiency of IT risk controls.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Ayokunmi enjoys exploring his surroundings through local travel, delving into captivating reads, and engaging in faith-based discussions.
