Event description

Description

This wonderful night is raising money for 'See Change' (the new name for Julian House in Bristol).

See Change tackles homelessness, addiction and unemployment in our city. Their vital and amazing work will be made evident to you on the night, amidst dazzling spoken word and the serenading sounds of one very heart-warming mandolin player. There will also be a Q and A panel with See Change and a talk from someone who has successfully used See Change's services.

Our spoken word artists are three of Bristol's best including Sam Grudgings who tackles the theme of addiction and co-produces the amazing regular poetry night in Bristol: Milk Poetry. We also have Callum Wensley who questions assumptions and common misconceptions around mental health and masculinity through his beautiful crafting of the spoken word.

The event takes place in the heart of Stokes Croft at Café Kino, so you can always grab some incredible food before you head downstairs for a soul-warming night. The event room will open at around 6.50pm.

This truly is a night you won't want to miss, all in the name of a very good cause.
