About the Workshop:Join us for a hands-on session at R-Urban Poplar where you'll learn how to harvest, clean and store seeds from edible and pollinator plants—perfect for home growers and beginners alike. Then, roll up your sleeves and make your own seed bombs to take home, ideal for gifting or guerrilla gardening.

This is a family-friendly event. Children can attend for free with a child ticket, but must be accompanied and supervised at all times by a fee-paying adult with a valid ticket.

You’ll discover:

· Different seed harvesting techniques for a variety of edible plants and flowers.

· How to identify when seeds are ready to harvest

· Techniques for drying and storing seeds at home

· Which seeds are best suited for seed bombs

· How to make eco-friendly seed bombs using natural materials

All materials are provided, and you’ll take home a selection of your own seed and seed bombs!

Seed Swap:You're welcome to bring along seeds you'd like to share or swap with other participants. Whether they’re saved from your own garden or surplus shop-bought packets, this is a great opportunity to exchange seeds, discover new varieties, and connect with others interested in growing. Please label your seeds clearly with the plant name and any growing notes if possible.
