SEED PGR CONFERENCE 2017
Mon 15 May 2017, 09:00 – 17:00 BST
The 4th annual SEED PGR Conference aims to bring together Postgraduate Research students (PGRs) from across the school of Environment, Education, and Development. This year the theme is “Emerging Challenges in the Age of Uncertainty”.
The conference is free to attend and to present.
The conference is a great opportunity to showcase your work to your peers and to gain valuable experience in presenting academic research to an engaged and supportive audience. Oral presentations will take approximately 20 minutes and all 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-year SEED postgraduate researchers are eligible to present.
If you would like to present your research at this event, please send an abstract of no more than 300 words and your proposed title for the presentation via email to email@example.com , with the subject line: ‘submitted abstract’, by Friday, the 31st of March. Please make sure you include your full name, discipline and year of study in the email.
As an added bonus, this year, for the first time, presenters at the SEED PGR Conference will have the opportunity to get the full paper of their presentation included in a book of Conference Proceedings.
These Proceedings will be made available via the University of Manchester Library repository system for publication. Anyone taking part in the conference will get the chance to act as a reviewer of papers published in the Conference Proceedings.
This is a great professional development opportunity and has the full support of the School and the University Library.
