About this event

Join a friendly and immersive talk with Hamshya Rajkumar from Glasgow Seed Library for folk who are curious about seed saving, how seeds relate to the food on our plate and how seed libraries can support community and climate resilience.

This event is for new Seed-lings! For anyone who is new to the realm of seed saving and would like to learn about its importance in adapting vegetables and other plants for our changing Scottish climate. It's a safe space to ask silly questions!

Glasgow Seed Library is a collection of seeds and a community of growers.

The library stocks organic and open-pollinated vegetable, herb and flower seeds for everyone to borrow, grow and save. By learning to save and share seed locally, we can nurture unique varieties and adapt our plants to a changing Scottish climate.

Each Lunchtime Learning session will highlight expert knowledge and practical insights, with recordings made available to our members after the events.

Our events will be hosted onine, a link will be sent with your booking or accessed via Eventbrite.

These sessions also contribute to our Community Grower Leadership Programme, which asks for leaders to take part in 3 sessions, one from each theme of;
