Description

For the SEED Annual Social Responsibility Lecture, 2017, Professor Kalwant Bhopal will use her research to discuss: 'BME experiences in higher education: inclusion, equity and social justice'.

Kalwant is a Professor of Education and Social Justice and Professorial Research Fellow in the Centre for Research in Race and Education in the School of Education, University of Birmingham. Her research on this area has been used to inform policy making in higher education, particularly the development of the Race Equality Charter mark.

A welcome reception will accompany a showcase of SEED Social Responsibility work from 4.30pm with the lecture starting at 5.15pm for an hour.
