Event description

Description

Replenish your body with fresh spring-time treats: learn how to make tasty and nourishing raw vegan food

Who is the workshop for?

This workshop is aimed at beginner or more experienced home cooks who wish to develop their skills in seasonal vegan cooking and eating.

What will you learn?

This workshop will take you through the basics, deal with your queries and build your confidence to use raw food in your diet. It will involve both a theoretical and a practical session and introduce participants to key essentials, including:

- how vegan are (some) organic vegetables

- how to replace out-of-season veg in your diet

- how to access macro and micro-nutrients in a raw vegan dish

- how to use seasonal produce in raw dishes

Part of a series of workshops at Tolhurst Organic CIC to learn to grow, cook and preserve your own food. Each month, we explore and develop food-related skills – from planning a vegetable garden to harvesting and preserving your produce. Price includes a home grown, vegetarian/vegan lunch and some take-home goodies.

We can cater for special dietary requirements - please contact us directly at least 7 days before the workshop.

We offer GIFT VOUCHERS valid for any workshops organised by Tolhurst Organic, should you wish to give one and let the recipient choose their own date and topic.

We may be able to offer a number of SUBSIDISED PLACES for young growers and those on low income. Please enquire.
