Together, we’ll explore the essence of the Primary Series, going beyond the poses to their roots and overall intentions. These beginner classes gently break down the fundamentals of Ashtanga yoga - step by step - across the 5 weeks.
Rather than being in continuous flow, sessions will hold space for shared discussion to deepen our understanding.
Perfect for those curious about yoga as a tool for mental wellbeing, about the meaning and connection of the practice, who are interested in why (being), not just what (doing)!
Key aims are to:
- Plant seeds for a self-sufficient practice, supported by community
- Allow for understanding not always possible in regular classes
- Explore both mental and physical benefits
- Spark curiosity and ongoing exploration
- Foster connection - to self, to others, and to a grounded sense of accessibility and possibility
