SEEDS2TREES - Otterburn Special Event
Come join us for an afternoon to hear about the achievements of professionals and community folk, caring for, connecting with, and creating our future woodlands.
SEEDS2TREES is a community focussed project of Living Woods where schools, community groups, households and individuals are growing our future woodlands from seeds.
Come and hear how you can join over 300 growers and plant seeds and watching them grow into beautiful trees. It's a great opportunity to connect with nature and learn about the importance of trees in our environment, and help "grow the change we need".
Lara Young, Project Manager of SEEDS2TREES will give a short presentation about the project, and Mark Shipperlee, Operatioons Director of Living Woods, will explain how Living Woods are caring for, conenction with, and creating woodlands for the sake our planet.
We welcome our Special Guest and Key Speaker Lee Hollings (Kielder East Beat Forester - North England Forest District)
There will be a tree and book swap - for a donation for SEEDS2TREES you can take home a tree and a book!
