“SEEING A SYSTEM”
When working with more than one person, a therapist or coach can be flooded with information. This leaves us with many choices: What to focus on? How to intervene?
In this development day we will use Gestalt principles to help us see how two people interact. We will hone your observation skills so that you can better see what’s happening. We will help you decide how to intervene based on what you see.
The day is directly relevant to those working with couples or groups. However, if you only work with individuals, you will gain insight that will help you and your clients navigate relationships.
Facilitators Lucy Ball and Gaynor Sharp are steeped in a Gestalt approach to working with systems. We give credit to the Gestalt International Study Center, Boston, MA, USA for the foundations on which we have built this development day. Whatever your modality, we hope to provide a welcoming and rich experience, offer useful tools and generate insights that you can integrate into your practice. Please join us!
