Description

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “None of you truly believes until I am more beloved to him than his father, his child and all the people.” (Bukhari, 15; Muslim, 44)

There has never been a human being so loved, well-respected and followed as Muhammad , the final messenger of Allah. There has never been a person who has changed world history so dramatically as Muhammad and his message. The Prophet was the single most important person in the history of the world. A journey through the life of the best of creation, the Prophet Muhammad . A look at his life, his struggles, his victories and how Islam was established. Beyond a shadow of doubt, the biography of Prophet Muhammad manifestly represents an exhaustive embodiment of the sublime Divine Message that he communicated in order to deliver the human race from the swamp of darkness and polytheism to the paradise of light and monotheism. An image, authentic as well as comprehensive, of this Message is therefore only attainable through careful study and profound analysis of both backgrounds and issues of such a biography.

MIU presents the first in a series of courses centring on the Seerah of our beloved Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). This course is unique in that it follows very diligently the Seerah authenticated by the people of hadith, as Imam Ash-Shafi’ee said: “If I were to see a man from the people of hadeeth, it would be as if I have seen the Prophet () living.” [Sharaf As-haabil Hadeeth, 1/31]

Objectives of the course:

The main objective of this course is to build a firm foundation for this immensely important subject matter. In studying this course, the student will gain the following:
