SEL Primary / Secondary Care Interface - Prescribing Policy Workshop

The South East London ICB CMO Office and the Health Innovation Network are working together on a programme of work focused on the primary and secondary care interface. We are working to develop service standards and concensus documents across multiple domains (for example discharge letters, advice and guidance etc), compile a suite of resources on the SEL ICB website, and to promote these new resources to encourage integration into clinical practice.

As part of this programme, we are working with the ICB Medicines Optimisation team to update the South East London Interface Prescribing Policy. While the document has been refreshed since original launch, we want to provide a more comprehensive update to resolve any issues or gaps in the document, to account for the more diverse spread of prescribing and specialist roles, and to think forward to the developing INT model.

This co-design workshop will provide an opportunity to address the gaps, issues and queries raised by prescribers, and to collaborate on developing an updated policy document for south wast London Colleagues.
