Self-Care & Connection Circle with Gong Bath

By Maria Tjader

Overview

Gather as a community to receive nourishment, connection and belonging. Release, renew, leave more resourced and empowered.

Remembering the Ancient Ways of Healing Together. Long before therapy rooms and wellness studios, our ancestors gathered around fires, in sacred groves and within stone circles. They sang, cried, danced and told stories. They healed together — not alone. In every culture, there were ways of coming together when life felt heavy or unclear. The Celts gathered at ancient stones to honour the cycles of nature and realign with the earth’s rhythm. In Indigenous traditions, circles were held to listen deeply, witness each other and remember our belonging.

These were more than rituals. They were acts of remembrance — moments of returning to who we truly are. Today, we are being called to remember these ways again. To slow down. To sit in circle. To reconnect. This workshop is a modern expression of these timeless traditions — sacred spaces where we gather in community to heal, witness and grow.

Through guided exercises, shared stories and gentle embodiment, we explore what wants to be seen, released and restored, in ourselves, our lineage and our lives. If you feel the call to reconnect with yourself, with others and with something greater — I invite you to join us.

Together we remember: “Healing is not meant to be done alone.”

“I’ve recently attended one of Maria’s Women’s Circle and the experience was truly nourishing and genuine. Maria created a safe, loving, and welcoming environment where everyone felt cared for and supported. The combination of practices—cacao ceremony, gentle chanting, mindful meditation, clay-making, and soothing massage—offered a beautiful balance of creativity, relaxation, and connection. It was a space where I could fully unwind, express myself, and feel part of a compassionate community. I left feeling grounded, inspired, and deeply grateful for the thoughtful care and intention behind every detail. I'm joining another of her offerings this week and I’m very much looking forward to it, thank you Maria.” - Carolina

“To say I value Maria’s work is an understatement. I wouldn’t be where I am now without her immaculate guidance, intuitive wisdom and holding. Her uncanny skill to unlock layers in family constellations has repeatedly blown me away. Her 1-1 sessions have been pivotal moments on my journey and their empowering effects have been lasting. Her women’s circles have been nourishing and Maria continues to be a source of inspiration, growth and homecoming. It's been three years of journeying with Maria and I'm looking forward to the next three!” - Alice

“Maria has an amazing energy - I first met her at Dragonfly Yoga in Brockley. I was really new to meditation and she was running a session. Her work is accessible and relatable. Since working with Maria, I find myself more able to deal with stressful situations and generally having more perspective on things. Being part of the Women's Circles every Sunday has become a real highlight and marker of my week. Maria facilitates with a real openness and honesty - I look forward to every session and I can’t wait for more!” - Rebecca
