Event Information
About this Event
Self-care is fundamental to children’s participation in daily life. This webinar will give an overview of current evidence about children’s self-care, developed from recent and ongoing research studies with children, families and therapists. The webinar will present how children and young people view and define self-care, evidence about children’s self-care development in the early years’, barriers and facilitators to self-care, and therapy interventions for supporting self-care. Attendees will have the opportunity to share ideas and comments to consider the evidence in relation to current practice.
