Our next monthly support meeting at RISC is on Monday 13th June 2022 at 7.30pm.
Rekha Kapoor will deliver an interactive session on self-compassion.
The focus of the session will be on: -
- The importance of self-compassion
- How to build your own self-compassion backpack
- Practicing a self-compassion meditation
After the session there will be time for refreshments and a chat.
Rekha is a qualified registered nurse, mindfulness teacher and Mental Health First Aid Instructor. She has over 30 years’ experience of supporting people with their physical and mental wellbeing in the NHS. Along with mindfulness, self-compassion has been fundamental in helping her improve her psychological wellbeing.

Numbers will be limited to a maximum of 20 people, so booking is essential if you wish to come along. As always, the meetings are completely free of charge and everyone is welcome. We aim to provide a safe and confidential environment where everyone is listened to and treated with respect.
