Much of human suffering (both in the workplace and out of it) stems from not having received or integrated enough love as children; We desire it, we need it. Without it, we cannot survive. When I say human suffering, I include Depression, Anxiety, Addiction, Painful emotions, Self Criticism; to name but a few forms of human suffering. When we offer love and compassion to ourselves and to others, we and they truly flourish: We feel “good”, our resilience grows, our empathy increases, our natural acceptance of others expands (and that is just for starters) And when we don’t practice love and compassion, we shrink; emotionally, spiritually and physically; our productivity and our mental health suffers. Our physical health too.

Compassion is so much more than a nice to have, it is simply a Must do; and a Must have. “Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them humanity cannot survive.” ~Dalai Lama. Everyone has a Compassion Focused Leader within; (even if you find that hard to believe! )Being able to step into the Compassion focused leader that you truly are (whether or not you are a leader of others), begins with Compassion Focused leadership of yourself (Even, and especially, if you’d rather skip that bit!)

In this programme of workshops, using compassion focused embodiment practices, compassion focused meditations and sharing/discussions; we will explore: What Self Compassion and Compassion really are. The reasons Compassion is as essential way of being for both leaders of others (and for Self leadership ie for your own wellbeing, productivity and happiness). How to introduce more Compassion into both your life and that of your teams.

My Self Compassion programme offers weekly workshops with Meditation, Movement, Sharing and Exercises to bring you deeper Self Compassion, well being and productivity at work and in life. This is a must do programme; Do join as many of these as you can.

Karen has had many “claims to fame”. For example: She has coached on relationships in front of 1.5 million people on ITV’s most popular day time programme, (The Trisha Show, ITV’s answer to Oprah) and has also appeared on ITV2. She also wrote for Natural Health Magazine as The Soul Doctor and The Life Coach over a four year period, contributing a page addressing readers’ life challenges every month. She has also appeared on the BBC’s equivalent in South Korea teaching her Dance Meditation as part of a documentary on dance as a healing too, alongside facilitators from all over the world. She has also taught a session for BBC1’s Inside Out series where she showed 3.6 million viewers how Londoner’s can have fun without alcohol.
