Self-Acceptance & Self Compassion Workshop
We are our own worsts critics. . .
If its not beating ourselves up for the way we look, it’s for being a poor parent, a poor employee/manager or business owner. We judge the decisions we make, the way we act, our friends, family and colleagues. We never just accept the situation for all that it is.
Acceptance with our current situation, no matter how dire the circumstance, need to start with acceptance of our self.
We need to stop listening to that little voice that seems to want to place a negative on things that you have done, or about to do. How can you ever truly know the outcome of everything? Something’s you just have no control over the outcome...
** Self Compassion **
By truly seeing just how important you are, you empower yourself. Self Compassion and acceptance is the key. Over the last 12 months, speaking to person after person about self worth, and disucssing the common humanity (we are all suffering together), I have realised there is 1 underlying factor that noone seems to be discussing.........
It’s all about letting go, acceptance of the situation and accepting you for who and where you are.
For both lads & ladies
What will we be covering over the session?
> What is Compassion?
> Why are we so confused right now?
> Mindfulness or meditation is not a fad, its backed by some of the worlds leading neuro/quantum physics scientists which we will discuss.
> What is self talk?
> Time for questions and answers
Over the class we will experience 2 self compassion focused meditations which may include;
> Body Scan with compassion
> Sitting with Emotions
> Metta for Self
> Breathing with compassion
There will also be talks and exercises to complete during the workshop.
Suitable for beginners or anyone looking at bringing self compassion into their life through meditation and mindfulness.
