Self-Esteem Booster: 4 weekly workshops

A series of 90-minute workshops for adults who want to raise their self-esteem, self-confidence and assertiveness skills.
We all have days when our dreams and goals seem a million miles away; or we feel unable to make any decisions, – whether that’s what to do this afternoon or for a lifetime.
Sometimes, we can even feel unsure of who we are and what we want out of life, let alone how to go about getting it. This can come from low self-esteem, lack of belief in ourselves and worries about 'getting it right'.
These workshops are for adults who feel they could benefit from learning or brushing up on skills such as:
* time management
* goal planning
* stress management
Week 1: Introduction: Believing in yourself: discovering who you are and what you need from others, tools to help you do this
Week 2: Assertiveness training: how to let people know what you need
Week 3: Identifying and managing stress, and using time effectively
Week 4: Planning for the future: what are your dreams and goals, and how to work towards them
These friendly and informal workshops offer practical tools to help you develop your skills and confidence; there are activities to do in pairs or small groups as well as a course handbook to take away with you, full of the leaflets and handouts we’ll be working on each week.
By the end of the 4 weeks, you'll feel better able to manage your time and resources, and feel more confident about living your life and working towards your goals.
