About this event

Health • Mental health

Self-help books are some of the most popular and most borrowed books of all genres. People love to read about how they can improve their health, their attitudes and their lives in general. So many people read self-improvement books, but how many actually attempt to put some of what they've read into practice?

This reading group aims to do just that - help you help yourself by discussing ways in which theory can be put into practice.

See here for the books available online from the library.

In October we will be discussing Go With Your Gut: Go with your intuition and make better choicese by Eugene Smith.

Find out how to nurture your intuition and intuitive intelligence so you can make quicker and more accurate decisions in fast-moving situations with limited information, gain insights into other people’s states of mind, motives and intentions, sense what’s the right thing to do when you’re ethically challenged, and seek out creative solutions to your decisions and dilemmas.
