About this event

My name is Holly and I am passionate about helping people to expereince more ease and joy in life through simple acts of self kindness.

This 2-hour, outdoor, event is an opportunity to step away from the busyness and overwhelm of everyday life, and to experience peace, tranquility and a sense of coming home to yourself.

This Self Kindness Sanctuary in-person event is best described as a calming and restorative intriduction to the transformative power of self kindness.

During our session, we'll settle into a beautiful natural setting at Wild Heart Hill, allowing plenty of time to relax and immerse ourselves in the stunning scenery. We'll engage in a variety of gentle, sensory-focused activities designed to cultivate self kindness and promote deep relaxation. This will include guided self kindness practices, such as taking a breath, getting out of our busy heads and reconnecting with our bodies, experiencing the restorative power of time in nature, and opportunities for mindful reflection. Towards the end of the session, there will be the opportunity to sit or lie down for a longer period of guided relaxation, lasting around 25-30 minutes.

Focusing on self kindness has a profound and transformative effect, both for the person practising and also a positive ripple effect out into the world. People often report a deeper connection with themselves and a renewed sense of peace after participating in Self Kindness Sanctuary on-line events, and I am so excited to offer the oppotunity to paticipate in-person, at the beautiful Wild Heart Hill.

If you've ever wondered about the healing power of nurturing yourself, this session will offer various ways in which self kindness can help you relax and thrive. We'll share insights into how cultivating a kinder relationship with yourself can positively impact your wellbeing and have a positive impact on those around you. You will return home with practical techniques to use whenever you need to offer yourself compassion and care.

Facilities and Access

Wild Heart Hill offers a beautiful and tranquil, outdoor, setting for our event. Toilet facilities are availble onsite. Please bring any food, drink, refreshments with you as there is nowhere to obtain these onsite or nearby.

What will happen in the end of bad weather

This event is designed to take in the beauty of nature at Wild Heart Hill and will take place outdoors in rain or sunshine. Participants are encouraged to dress appropriately and bring all weather options. In the event of very strong winds or storms, the event will be cancelled and refunds issued.

I created the Self Kindness Sanctuary because I discovered that self kindness is the key to experiencing more joy and ease in life. Modern life often traps us in a constant state of "fight or flight," impacting our physical and mental wellbeing with chronic stress, exhaustion, and a host of other issues. Self kindness techniques can switch us back to a state of peace and calm and, practiced consistently, can create a foundation for a happier, healthier and more fulfilling life. The Self Kindness Sanctuary is designed to help you to build that foundation, enjoy the good times more fully, and navigate difficult times with greater ease, not as another chore, but as a gift to ourselves.
