This is a great opportunity for those who are starting as a freelancer or want to boost their current visibility, to learn about securing an online presence and promoting yourself and your work with online resources.

Join Liz Hardwick from DigiEnable for this session where we will look at how to manage your online reputation; help you create your draft online promotional strategy, and look at your conversations and communications online and how they connect with the offline (real) world.

Please ensure you have your camera and audio on for the session as it is interactive.

The lawful basis we rely on to process your personal data is that the processing is necessary to perform a contract, Article 6.1.b of the UK GDPR.

The lawful basis we rely on to process data when using Zoom/Teams is our Legitimate Interest to use a system to provide students access to on-line courses. Article 6.1.f of UK GDPR

Our lawful basis to collect Equality data is consent. Article 6.1.a of UK GDPR.

Trade union membership processing is carried out in the course of our legitimate activity as a trade union. Article 9.2.d of UK GDPR

Equality data is only processed with the explicit consent of students, and this data is only collected on a voluntary basis. Article 9.2.a of UK GDPR.

Who will your data be shared with?

Personal data will be shared the training providers and tutors.

Your data will only be processed by:

Eventbrite – when registering for courses. You can access their privacy policy here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/

Zoom/Teams – on-line training sessions.

Data may be stored by these companies outside the United Kingdom. This will be under standard contract clauses.

How will we keep your data secure?

Data will be kept in an encrypted format on secure servers.
