Description

With more and more casting directors and directors asking actors to self tape, this half day course will give you all the skills you need to create a great self tape and get yourself seen again.

You will learn to:

  • Be comfortable in front of the camera – centre and focus
  • Make strong clear choices
  • Live in the moment
  • Follow all instructions
  • Be prepared – rehearse your scenes in different ways
  • Learn self tape dos and donts


Tutor: Amanda Brennan

Amanda is Course Leader of MA Acting for Screen Acting at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama as well as an acting coach, film director and producer.

As an acting coach she has prepared actors for theatre, film and television projects, including most recently: Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children directed by Tim Burton (2016), The Night Out, HBO 2016, 10,000 Saints directed by Robert Pulcini and Shari Springer Berman (2015), X + Y directed by Morgan Matthews (2014)

Since 2005 she has been the producer /executive producer on over 30 films.
