An opportunity to check your baby’s weight as well as talk to staff from the Family Support Service on a variety of health promotions and parenting support topics.

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health recommend weighing your baby /toddler at specific times by the time your child is 2.5 years.

Please access the Family Centre self-weigh stations to check your baby’s progress at 16 weeks, 20 weeks, 8 months and 12 months.

If you have any queries or concerns please ring 0300 123 7572 to speak to a Health Visitor.

We will ring you before your appointment to ensure that you get the most out of it and to talk you through some important safety measures.

Please remember to bring a pen and paper so you can note down your baby's weight before transferring this information into your red book.

Venue instructions:

Bramble Hill Family Centre is signposted from London Road into Aspenden Road, Then signposted again - second right hand turning into Luynes Rise. Then first right into Mill Close. The centre is on the left hand side, built on the side of Seth Ward Community Centre.

There is large car park next to Seth Ward Community Centre which can be used. If the car park is full, then you can park on Luynes Rise.

There is a slope leading up the centre for buggies or disabled access. Please leave buggies outside the centre as there is limited space inside. Please press the entry button on the left hand side of the door and someone will let you in.
