Self Weigh Station - High Trees Family Centre - 30/04/2024

An opportunity to check your baby’s weight as well as talk to staff from the Family Support Service on a variety of health promotions and parenting support topics.

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health recommend weighing your baby /toddler at specific times by the time your child is 2.5 years.

Please access the Family Centre self-weigh stations to check your baby’s progress at 16 weeks, 20 weeks, 8 months and 12 months.

If you have any queries or concerns please ring 0300 123 7572 to speak to a Health Visitor.

We will ring you before your appointment to ensure that you get the most out of it and to talk you through some important safety measures.

Please remember to bring a pen and paper so you can note down your baby's weight before transferring this information into your red book.

Venue Information

High Trees family Centre is situated on the Hertford Regional College site.

There is a large car park on site. A control barrier and push button to gain access.

Disable parking is available directly opposite the building.

Entrance to building is signposted Squirrels Day Nursery and High Trees above the door.

Buggy shelter available to the right of the entrance. Please leave buggies outside the centre as there is limited space inside.

Disable push button on the wall to access the centre and then signed button directly ahead on the wall for the Nursery or High Trees Family Centre.

Toilets and baby changing facilities are available. Changing mat provided.
