Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) invites you to attend a FREE 1 day beginner’s level workshop 'Selling Online Internationally’ to help you learn how to increase international sales through your website.

This interactive workshop will help you understand what really matters when trading online internationally, giving practical advice on what to do and examples of best practice, as well as the pitfalls to avoid.

Your business should already have a website and you should want to develop your site to sell pro-actively to international customers. The workshop will help you write a short action plan for your business to grow your international online sales.

*This course is not intended for tourism businesses who should instead refer to your local Destination Management Organisation who will be organising tourism specific digital workshops on behalf of HIE across a number of subjects, including international digital tourism

Please note the course is free of charge, however, as it is a form of State Aid, it could count towards your overall De Minimis allowance. Each company is allowed a total of 200,000 Euros in de minimis aid over a 3 year period. http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Topics/Government/State-Aid/if-its-aid/deminimis
