Business success is based on profitable sales. A sales model is the steps and actions a vendor performs to create a profitable sale. The basic stages are: o Prospecting and generation of opportunities o Making contact and positioning the value of an initial meeting o Creating and presenting the offer in a manner that the respondent can engage with o Responding to questions, objections and comparisons o Closing transactions whether the offer was taken or declined A first meeting is typically 45 minutes and your model may encompass some of this or all of it
