Join us at our breakfast seminar on how to run a small business, on Wednesday 19th June 2019, jointly hosted by Hartley Fowler and Peacock & Co Solictors, at Tuition House in Wimbledon.
Delegates will hear from Hartley Fowler's Wimbledon Partner, Julien Upson, who will cover the general accounting requirements of running a business, including tax efficient business structures to help you maximise planning opportunities.
Julien will discuss the best structure for your business and the main tax and trading differences between the most common structures:
- Limited Companies
- Limited Liability Partnerships
- Partnerships
- Sole Traders
Taxes that need to be considered include
- Corporation tax
- Income tax
- National Insurance
- Capital Gains tax
In addition, Hartley Fowler's Director of Online Services Kevin Depper will discuss Making Tax Digital and its implications for businesses, including:
- Making Tax Digital – Where are we now and what is the future.
- What businesses need to do to comply.
- Are there any opportunities for businesses?
We will also hear from Clare Chappell and Ben Pearson, from Peacock & Co Solicitors (based in Wimbledon Village and Epsom), who will talk about the following:
