A partnership, half-day seminar of the Greater London Authority and Whole School SEND.

About this Event

This free event will be of particular interest to mainstream school leaders and SENCO practitioners. The main areas of focus will be:

  1. Whole Schools SEND's presentation of their new SEND leadership guide for discussion and feedback before publication
  2. Ways of reducing the risk of exclusion and providing the right early support for SEND pupils

Speakers will include:

  • Joanne McCartney AM, Deputy Mayor for Education & Childcare - opening address
  • Philip Garner, Professor of Education within the School of Education, University of Northampton
  • Margaret Mulholland, SEND and Inclusion Specialist, Association of School & College Leaders - inclusive leadership
  • Whole School SEND - introduction to new SEND leadership guide
  • Schools for Success & Stepping Stones schools - sharing good practice

Please note that should demand for the event exceed capacity, the organisers may have to restrict the number of attendees from a single school or organisation.
