Join us for the Circular Economy Seminar: an event that examines the progress of the “Reusable Cup Scheme” in the UK. We will showcase and share the experience of designing and implementing the Cardiff ReFill Cup Scheme. The seminar will also provide insight into the analysis of the cup leasing data, the perspectives of cafes, and the outcomes of the end-consumer survey. We aim to invite you to discuss and explore the wider proliferation of and implementation of cup schemes in England and Wales.
Goals of the Seminar
- Share lessons learnt on the implementation of various cup schemes, including insights into detailed analysis of usage data from the cup leasing system, sharing feedback from participating cafés, and discussing results from the end-consumer survey.
- Scope the Implementation of Cup Schemes, aided by sharing the design, implementation process, and outcomes of the reusable cup schemes.
- Discuss challenges the scheme may face across the region and how to overcome them in England and Wales.

Attendance is by invitation and expression of interest only. The event is designed for:
- Council officials
- BID officials
- Sustainability leads within National Parks
- Technology providers and system integrators in the cup scheme
- Cafe's sustainability officials
