Description: This session is aimed at businesses who want to start exporting or are exporting but are not aware of the services that DIT offer. The DIT is the UK government's trade promotion agency and we help UK businesses access export opportunities in all the major markets as well as attract inward investment into the UK.
Speaker: Jamie Douglas, International Trade Adviser for the Department for International Trade, has almost twenty years of international work experience in UK, Spain, China, Japan and the USA, covering education, teacher-training, intercultural sales and compliance training, direct sales and business development of both pharmaceuticals and educational software solutions. Jamie's particular focus is on supporting SMEs within the education, training and professional business services sectors in their international market selection and entry strategies, leveraging the DIT's international network and drawing upon his commercial background within these sectors
