SEN Maths Network Meeting - Autumn 2016
Thu 20 October 2016, 15:45 – 17:45 BST
This informal meeting encourages collaboration and networking, discussion of key issues, and identifies opportunities for the Great North Maths Hub to lend support. The event is open to teachers, coordinators and teaching assistants, either working in a special needs school or with responsibility for special needs within mainstream.
This meeting will focus around resources. We invite attendees to bring along resources that they use, to aid discussions of what resources work well and different ways to use them. We would also like to hear about any specific needs that attendees have, to see how we can work together to address, and maybe focus for future projects or meetings.
The meeting is free to attend and will be facilitated by Lucy Cameron. Lucy currently works at Beacon Hill School, and her role as an SLE has seen her support other special schools as well as mainstream colleagues working with pupils with SEN in a range of settings.
