Description

Join us for this short session which aims to help you to understand how mainstream educational settings can support children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities who do not have an Education, Health and Care plan.

This session will cover special educational needs and disability definitions, universal provision, SEN support, SEN funding and the Buckinghamshire graduated approach. It will also look at reasonable adjustments for disabilities. It does not cover Education, Health and Care Plans. This session is aimed at parents and carers of children in mainstream early years, school or college settings.

Priority will be given to those who have not previously attended this type of training event. If you have already attended this workshop please contact us to discuss your on-going training needs.

This workshop is not suitable for children to attend.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Approaching Aylesbury from any direction when driving, follow the signs for Town Centre or Aylesbury Waterside Theatre. There are a number of car parks in this area for which charges vary. Details can be found here: https://www.aylesburyvaledc.gov.uk/section/car-parks

Annex A is situated approximately 200m from Aylesbury Bus Station. Details of local bus services can be found on the Arriva website

The nearest train station is Aylesbury station, approximately 500m from Annex A. Details of trains to Aylesbury station can be accessed via the Chiltern Railways website.
