Event description
Free online session for parents and carers in Suffolk explaining SEN support in schools for pupils with sensory processing needs

About this event

Suffolk SENDIASS is offering an informal online session for parents and carers in Suffolk, spotlighting on the process of SEN support in schools for pupils with sensory processing needs.

The session will be supported by two Paediatric Occupational Therapists from the Paediatric Occupational Therapy Sensory Pathway Service.

The session will explore:

The key principles of SEN support and whole-class approaches;

The 4 stages to the cycle of SEN support and how you and your child are involved;

Examples of school support and how you can help at home;

What happens if your child needs more support.

We will be keeping the group number small so that we can address as many of your questions as possible.
