SEND Basecamp Taster Day with Dartmoor Outdoor learning team - Age 11 -17

🎉 Join Us for a Fun-Filled Day at Pixies Holt!

🕒 Time: Drop off at10:00 AM and Pickup at 3:30 PM
📍 Location: Pixies Holt Outdoor Learning Centre (Drop-off and pick-up point)
👧 Who’s it for? Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities
👥 Group Size: 10 children, supported by 2 experienced instructors

🌿 Activities:
The day’s activities will be tailored to suit the needs of the children. Possible options include:

• Archery
• Bushcraft (including den building and building camp fire with treats)
• Moorland exploration
• Orienteering
• Intro to Weaselling

💪 Requirements:
Children must be physically mobile and comfortable being in small groups.

📝 Booking Info:
Once you book, we’ll send you a medical consent form. Please complete and return it to confirm your child’s place.

For the day your child/ren will need to bring:

Jumper

Trainers/ walking boots

Waterproof Jackets/ Trousers (we do have some spare)

Long trousers

Pack Lunch

Water bottle

Bag

Medication

Please do remember your child's medication, if on the day medication is not present, your child may not be able to take part on the day.
