Session 2: Deep Dive into Sensory Food Challenges and Restrictive Eaters

She’ll cover some of the reasons why some children are more restrictive around food and may develop ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder), how to help reduce and prevent nutritional deficiencies, how to calm the nervous system around food and gentle strategies to help broaden the diet - from sensory education to graduated exposure.
She’ll also open a discussion around the best ways to work with families and communicate with home.
