This free workshop is led by Zana Wood from Grow to School CIC.

Designed to inform and help Primary teaching staff and SEND support staff create an inclusive outdoor learning environment that benefits all learners.

With a focus on children with additional needs, the workshop looks at a variety of different methods, including a range of activities to raise confidence, to equip staff take all children outdoors.

Outdoor and nature-based learning has the ability to transform lives, regulating nervous systems and promoting a wide range of benefits from better communication to independence and resilience.

With a few minor adaptations and an informed awareness of the needs of children with SEND, including SEMH, everyone can benefit from the joys of being outdoors.

Please note: This workshop will include indoor and outdoor activites, so bring suitable clothing.

Tea and coffee will be provided but you will need to bring a packed lunch.

This course is funded by the Yorkshire Agricultural Society.
