Event description

Description

The SEND Reviewer Summit is an exciting professional development opportunity to continue the SEND Reviewer journey and to be part of Whole School SEND’s growing community of practice.

Whole School SEND is a community of practice bringing together over 4000 schools, practitioners, parents, governors and charities with the aim of improving outcomes for children and young people with SEND. It is part-funded by the Department for Education.

This free workshop is aimed at practitioners who have made use of the SEND Review Guide in a school and have written evidence of review outcomes to bring on the day.

The SEND Reviewer Summits aim to:

  • Build links between SEND practitioners in the WSS community of practice
  • Refresh awareness of the SEND Review and WSS's wider work and opportunities
  • Allow practitioners to share experience and capture learning, in order to shape the development of WSS.

As a community we want to share experience, hear what works and what needs to be improved in the SEND Review process. Therefore your attendance at one of the SEND Reviewer Summits is highly recommended and will be a valuable opportunity to build localised hubs where practice can be shared.

Through hearing your thoughts and ideas on the SEND Review process, the summits will also be an open forum for practitioners such as yourself to shape the direction of Whole School SEND’s work and practice going forward.

The summits will take place from 10am-3pm:

The event is free of charge, however spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Please email natasha@londonleadershipstrategy.com if you have any further questions.
