We will:

Explore a variety of strategies you can use with children to find the ones that work for them

Share strategies for maintaining the spellings in long term memory

As a result of this session you will have the confidence to deploy these strategies and be able to make a difference to their spelling experience helping towards writing with automaticity!

Claire McKie is an experienced teacher, trainer and education SEND consultant in both primary and secondary schools. She is Founder of the DfE (England) and DoE (W Australia) approved the Power Phonics English Programme. As an advisor she has led EEF funded National Reading RCT Efficacy Research and is still waiting for her Blue Peter Badge to arrive!
