Senior Leader Development Programme (Online)

This is an online course.

The work of Senior Leaders is vital to the success in delivering the desired outcomes for young people. It is vital therefore, that our senior leaders are equipped with suitable experience, skills and attributes, and that they receive excellent training. Our Senior Leader Development Programme (SLDP) is designed to offer aspiring or new-to-role Senior Leaders the opportunity for high quality, personalised development and the opportunity to reflect and review.

Training Overview:

The training programme (SLDP) consists of a total of approximately 20 learning hours spread out across an academic year. The programme consists of 7 online training seminars, professional learning such as reading and an ongoing whole school improvement action research project over the lifetime of the course.

Senior Leader Seminars:

• Seminar 1: The Core Principles of Ethical Leadership and Integrity
• Seminar 2: Leading Change and Effective Project Management
• Seminar 3:Managing Workload Strategically
• Seminar 4: Engaging with the Holistic Standards Strategy
• Seminar 5: Pastoral Perspectives of Senior Leadership
• Seminar 6: Developing a Shared and Consistent Teaching and Learning Vision
• Seminar 7: Securing your first Assistant Headteacher post

The first training seminar will be held on Thursday 09 November 2023 from 3:30pm until 4:30pm. The other six training seminars are spread out across the academic year and will be sent to you as a list of Teams invites upon sign up.

Payment

Payment is required at the time of booking by credit card, debit card or PayPal. Unless otherwise stated, a ticket gives admission to one person at face-to-face and online events. If you arrive at the event without a ticket, you will be required to book and pay for your place on Eventbrite again at the venue.

Refunds

Tickets are not transferable or refundable.

In the event of a refund request due to exceptional circumstances, please note that the Eventbrite booking fee of 6.95% plus 0.59p per ticket is not refundable.

To keep our event fees as low as possible, we are not able to issue invoices for payment by cheque or bank transfer and we are not able to reserve places without payment.

We strongly recommend that you take out 'event ticket insurance' which may cover the cost of your fee should you be unable to attend the event.
