The Senior Staff Meeting is a network for staff in leadership roles across the sector, providing an opportunity to connect, share, support, and learn from one another. Participants are encouraged to submit any specific questions or challenges they would like to bring to the group in advance. On occasion, we may also invite a guest speaker to contribute to the discussion.

Guest Speaker 22nd Oct:

Melanie Grandfield from High Tide HR Consultancy, is a Safer Recruitment Consortium accredited trainer. She has worked for six years in the Government of Jersey’s Education department, with responsibility for the development and implementation of Safer Recruitment procedures.

Safer Recruitment

The session will provide an overview of Safer Recruitment, why it matters and how it helps to manage risk. Safer Recruitment is an important strand of safeguarding, and safer recruitment measures used across both child and adult workplace settings or where engaging in regulated activities. The session will provide an overview of Safer Recruitment, why it matters and how it helps to manage risk.
