Sensitive: the survival guide
Fri 31 March 2017, 10:00 – 14:00 BST
Are you a Highly Sensitive Person?
If you are not sure then see how you score on the HSP test devised by Professor Aron. http://hsperson.com/test/highly-sensitive-test/
If you are Sensitive, then being HSP is not a mental disorder. It is a human trait which around 20% of the population have. It may feel like a burden at times - but it is in fact a wonderful trait if you can learn to manage it.
The first part of this workshop will be a showing of the film - Sensitive. The film is aimed at helping you understand more about being a Highly Sensitive Person.
Following the film, we will explore some practical strategies you can use right away in your daily life to strengthen and protect yourself and others who are HSP, especially if they are children. For example, periods of down time and being out in nature is not just a nice thing to do for those with this trait - it is essential.
It is free to attend but you will be asked to complete an enrolment form. You can download the enrolment form to complete in advance and save time on the day (please go to Enrolment Form section)http://iowlivingheritage.weebly.com/booking-details.html
The workshop is run by Dr Kim Brown, Founder of Nature Therapy and a HSP.
