Join Women in Tech Dorset for an evening of networking, inspirational speakers and discussion. The event is open to all and will celebrate role models who in technical STEM careers, from the transport and communications sectors.

The UK tech sector is one of the strongest in the world, and is vital for driving growth and jobs across the entire country. The Fawcett Society report 'System Update: Addressing the gender gap in Tech' highighted how much work remains to leverage the considerable skills of women in Tech and retain this talent. This event focuses on the third part of the WiTD Playbook; Providing equitable professional development opportunities.

Developing the technical and professional skills of women in tech roles often requires innovative and inclusive approaches. Join us to explore how to significantly enhance the development of technical and professional skills for women in tech roles and foster more inclusive and equitable workplaces.

A limited number of spaces are available for those aged 5 -12 to participate in a STEM Ambassador led activity during the event. Children under 4 are welcome to remain with parents for the event.
