Description

Enjoy a fun and informative hands-on class where you use all your senses to bake bread and taste wine.

Hear, See, Smell, Touch and Taste

Hear Monique and Lynne talk through the art of bread-making and the essentials of wine-tasting.

Imagine the feel of the dough, the smell and taste of freshly baked bread. Appreciate the nuances of colours, aromas and flavours of red, white and sparkling wines.

What can be nicer than sharing your experiences with friends and family?

Monique and Lynne lead this one-day hands-on class. You will discover how to make a variety of breads, develop your wine tasting skills and pair with a selection of local cheeses and the bread you have baked.

We start in the morning with Monique instructing on bread-making and while the loaves are proving Lynne will lead you through the essentials of wine tasting in her informal but informative style. You’ll learn about the format of tasting with emphasis and a fun practical session on aromas and how to taste and pair wine with food. We’ll taste a range of red, white and sparkling wines.

We end with lunch as we all sit down and compare notes while eating our delicious meal and sipping our favourite wines.

This class is ideal for everyone who wishes to improve their bread-making skills and increase their wine appreciation.
