About this event

This is a two-part workshop - you’ll need to commit to attending both sessions that will take place one week apart on 23rd and 30th June, 11am -1.30pm.

Your small business must be registered with Companies House using a London address or be able to provide proof of a trading / office address in London.

To book your place please register for a free ticket on Eventbrite and we'll be in touch by email to complete a short onboarding survey to confirm your place.

Join Abbey Oladapo founder of Three Sixtee on this practical and interactive 5-hour course. This 2 part workshop is designed for small business owners who want to learn how to use Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) to attract more visitors to your website.

A website is an integral part of your marketing strategy and you need it to be found when people are looking for your products and/or services on search engines like Google & Bing.

We’ll explore the basics of SEO and how you can implement it to help improve the performance of your website on Search Engines; thereby attracting more prospects and gaining more customers.

  • Local SEO: An Introduction
  • Getting started with Google My Business
  • Advanced SEO

This is a roll up your sleeves, learn by doing, interactive course. As well as activity prompts throughout the sessions, you’ll also be set short takeaway tasks during the week break to get you thinking.

We encourage you to bring your notebook, ask questions, and take part. They'll also be plenty of allocated Q&A time for all those burning questions. Plus, you'll get a chance to meet everyone else taking part and build your network.

Who's this for?

This workshop is designed for small business owners who want to learn how to use Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) to attract more visitors to your website.

About the organiser

These workshops are being delivered by Echo in partnership with Loughborough University London's Digital Skills programme, where London-based businesses can access lots more free support.

As part of the Digital Skills programme, you can offer a work insight project to a Loughborough University London master's student.

Companies must agree to:

Outline the digital work insight project

Offer a minimum of a 30-hour insight project to a Loughborough University London master's student

Confirm that the student completed the project and offer an endorsement to the student for their input on the project.
